Lead counselor

This is my 21st year as a counselor for New Frontiers Public Schools. Getting to do what you love every single day is a blessing, and one I don’t take for granted. I have grown as a person and as a professional here and have made colleagues into lifelong friends. Some have left the district, and when reminded of their times with us will nostalgically say what a special place it was. That no matter where they go, it’s hard to replicate the feeling of family that they found at New Frontiers.

Scott Horner
Teacher

I have worked for several districts in the San Antonio area; New Frontiers is the only district I have been supported 100% by my colleagues, especially my Principals and Counselors. So many people struggle to find a job they like. I have a career I love.

Rose Bizarri
PEIMS Coordinator

I started with New Frontiers in 2006 at the campus level and I loved working with the students. I moved on to District office 3 years ago.  I miss the campus atmosphere, but I feel I have progressed in the right direction. Oprah Winfrey said it best…. “Each of us has a personal calling that’s as unique as a fingerprint and that the best way to succeed is to discover what you love and then find a way to offer it to others in the form of service and working hard.  I think New Frontiers was my personal calling.
