I was born in La Ceiba, Honduras and I immigrated at the age of 4 to Falls Church Virginia with my family. I attended Sewanee: The University of the South in Tennessee. I am certified to teach bilingual and regular elementary grades 1-6. My hobbies include reading, writing, exercising, making friends, and social political organizing among other things.
My personal Mission at New Frontiers is to help my students become agents of change and inspire them to dream BIG and achieve those dreams. I want my students to not only imagine a just society, but also work towards it every day together, even after they leave my classroom.
