Meet the Principal
“I am proud to launch this unique school that will offer scholars a rigorous academic foundation, foster college ready skills – all the while meeting social and emotional needs”, said Dr. Monica Villarreal. “This will be an incredible opportunity for our community”.
At NFPS, Dr. Villarreal has led successful academic transitions. During her tenure as former principal, she secured a significant increase in teacher and student retention, a massive decrease in student disciplinary and behavioral infractions, and the campus demonstrated its academic potential to move two letter grades in the TEA Accountability System in just one academic year. She most recently served as the district’s Superintendent for Curriculum & Instruction and Compliance.
